With this article you'll learn how to connect your Trustpilot account with isendu
Using this integration you can automate the generation of review links for every order shipped using the Isendu platform.
These links will be sent automatically to the buyers via email and/or whatsapp messages from the Isendu platform when the Isendu tracking engine gets the confirmation from the carrier that the order is on its way.
To add the review links to your mail/whatsapp messages, you have to use a dedicated placeholder (identified by the symbol ) available on the message templating engine on the Isendu platform.
The placeholder can be used on the Review template for email messages and on the Review whatsapp message type. For more details on how to perform this operation please go to the documentation available on the Isendu platform.
- An active Trustpilot paying account

Before activating the integration on the Isendu platform you must go to the Data consent page on the Trustpilot website (Settings section - Business settings subsection) and activate the Partnership permissions for the domains of the website whose orders are managed with Isendu.
Once activated the Partnership permissions you hove to login on the Isendu platform and go to the section Integration -> Apps where he’ll find the link to activate the integration.
Clicking on Connect Trustpilot the app will show the form to fill for creating the integration.
In the first field you have to choose which store integration set up on Isendu link to Trustpilot, the review link will be generated for every order of the chosen integration shipped with Isendu.
The web domain of the store connected with the integration chosen must be the same web domain used on trustpilot.
In the second field you have to insert the web domain used on Trustpilot (without the initial www, for example xxxx.com).
Clicking on connect the Isendu app will perform a preliminary validation of the Trustpilot account, if everything is OK, you'll be redirected to the Trustpilot login page where you'll have to enter your credentials to authorize Isendu to access your Trustpilot account data.
After having authorized the Trustpilot-Isendu integration you will be finally redirected to the Apps page on Isendu where will be displayed the integration setup.
Managing the integration
Once set up the integration can be paused if necessary clicking on the Active button, if the
integration is deactivated the review links generation will be stopped.
If you need to terminate the integration, you can click on Disconnect, if confirmed all integration data will be deleted on the Isendu platform.
Setting up the Trustpilot-Isendu integration the user can receive error messages if certain conditions aren’t met. In the following table are listed the error messages generated by the application.
The domain is not present among the accounts registered on Trustpilot
The domain given by the user is not present on Trustpilot system
To enable the functionality of this integration, you need to enable partner permissions on Trustpilot's Business App.
The customer has not enabled the access to his/her Trustpilot account to Trustpilot partners
Your Trustpilot account is not eligible to use this integration, please contact your Trustpilot representative to upgrade your subscription
The Trustpilot customer has to have a paying Trustpilot account to activate the integration
There was an error in the authentication
The customer entered the wrong credentials in the Trustpilot login window
The selected store is already associated with the entered domain
On the Isendu platform the customer can integrate multiple online shops and the Trustpilot integration for a specific domain can be enabled only for one at a time, this message is displayed if the customer try to associate his/her Trustpilot account to a second shop in his Isendu account
